Male', MALDIVES -
According to AFC website, New Radiant's Adam Shareef who was shown the marching order in the match against SAFFC played in Male' on 2nd April is provisionally suspended from all New Radiant's matches until his case is decided by AFC disciplinary committee. Furthermore, AFC also highlighted that Adam's discipline after he was cautioned twice was not that from a professional player. Adam was taken out of the field with the assistance of New Radiant assistant coach and his fellow players.

In the post match conference, New Radiant's coach showed his concern over the discipline of Adam and stressed that the team would also take action against him.

"We will give a punishment (to adam) from the club".

However, New Radiant management refused to give any comments to maldivesoccer.com.

New Radiant will face Singapore Armed Forces (SAFFC) in Singapore and Victory will face Home United in Male' on 16th of this month.

Meanwhile, Victory's promising defender Mohamed Umair will be ineligible to play in their next AFC cup encounter against Home United on 16th of this month due to two yellow cards he received in the tournament so far. Umair was cautioned in the match against South China played on 18th March in Male' and against Home United played on 2nd April in Singapore.

In addition to Umair, Ibrahim Fazeel will also miss the game due to the suspension he received from AFC for the unsporty behavior between Fazeel and South China player, Man Pei.
